What do you think this cat and duck are saying to each other?
For tomorrows morning meeting, let's share something that we have made! It could be a painting, Lego creation, craft project, food item, etc. As long as you made it, you can share it!
Literacy
- Write your muscle words outside today! You could use chalk, write them in the dirt or sand with a stick, use a paint brush and water and write them on your deck, etc. Get creative!
- Write this silly sentence for wacky Wednesday. Don't forget all of your sentence rules and listen carefully for the /ch/ sound. The chimp had chips for lunch.
- Read from your reading bag for at least 10 minutes and log it in the CES Reading Challenge McKnight Daily Reading Log
- Log onto Raz-Kids and complete 2 books
Math
- Number Corner w/Mrs. E!
- Sort your subtraction cards by answer.
- Math game of the day will be Tenspeed again. This game is a little tricky so play again and see if you can get better at it.
Writing
- Handwriting practice: Write the name is each person in your family. Make sure you have a capital at the beginning of each of their name.
- Procedure writing is also know as How-To writing! Watch the video below to complete the next part of the project. See Monday for more details.
- Step 4: The Closing (The video says it's step 5. I skipped the step 4 video because it was about revision and was geared more 1st and 2nd grade.)
Habits of Mind Enrichment
- P.E. - Do one of the activities that Mrs. G sent home or check out
Daily Check in
- Please have your child complete the daily check-in at the end of each day! They may need some help typing the answer to the last question each day. McKnight K Daily Check-In
