Each day this week during math time, we have been reading one story out of Bedtime Math. If you haven't heard of these books before, each page has some interesting information about a topic and then a math story problem is presented about the topic. Below is an example of one of the problems that we did today. Some days, we solve the problems together on the rug by turning and talking to classmates and sharing our thinking. Other days we draw pictures to show our thinking on the SmartBoard. Today, I had students use manipulatives to show their thinking!

Bedtime Math!
