Collage pictures, measuring and shoe tying!

Happy Friday! I wanted to let you know what we have been up to during this short but busy week. 

 This week the children have been illustrating their Eric Carle inspired books. 




Today, they students were working so hard that we almost worked through snack! Rather than cleaning up the mess, just to make another after snack, we decided to have a picnic snack!


In math, we are working on measurement. Yesterday looked at rulers and discussed different units of measurement. During their exploration time with the rulers, the students decided to measure how long there by stacking rulers!



Shoe tying! If your child does not yet know how to tie his/her shoes, please work with them on this skill and have them practice at home. I am trying to help them learn here but there are 17 of them and 1 of me. Here are some some youtube links to help.
